A figment of the imagination is defined as a mere product of mental invention,
or a feigned, invented story. This gesture characterizes the work of the three
artists in Figment's Imagination at Miller Block Gallery in October. Sharing an
interest in an enigmatic transformation of mundane realities, each artist invents
a narrative world inhabited by human beings in uncanny predicaments.
